fpw 2.6a window close box greyed out 1

On Windows 98, FPW 2.6a has the close box (x on the top right) greyed out. One has to use "Close" from the drop menu of the top left corner.

Also, minimizing a screen program (.spr) freezes FPW.

Would be glad of any useful suggestions.

The 'X' has always been greyed out for fox 2.x for windows. It's not just a '98 thing.

As for minimizing a window freezing fox, not sure on that one.
Is it a modal window?

What sort of screen is it? Unless you make it a system window, it can't be restored and it will seem like the application is hung.
