Why does the # button have to be pressed twice when dialing on a Merlin with FP-2?

Is there anyway to disable this if it is being used for someting else?

Because the # key is used for internal features/codes - so to get the # key to get out on an external call - you need to press it twice. The first time does not register on an external call. You have the same issue with the star key - it needs to be pressed twice.

Thanks. I notice that this does not happen on FP-1. Anyway to disable it on FP-2?

Yes, Upgrade to a LEGEND, R7 is preferred.....
