FoxPro and Multimedia?

Would anybody happen to know of a way to send a .avi file to windows media player through coding in foxpro?? I know i could use the window multimedia control but i would rather have the media player open automatically and start playing the file if such a thing is possible?

Shellexecute is the way to run/open files with their associated programs

e.g avi files will open up media player and play.
