Fowarding voice messages 1

I just installed a Partner mail VS 4.1 and cannot figure out how to move messages from any mail box to another.

1. After you listen to a message press 12 to forward the message with a voice comment, you will then hear " Record at the tone"

2. Record your comment and then press 1, then you can press 23 to play back comment, 21 to re-record comment, *3 to delete comment just recorded or *# to approve comment.

3. Enter mailbox you want to send the message to and press #. Repeat for additional mailbox's if you want to send it to more than one. You can press *3 to remove a extension if you make a mistake.

4. Press *# to send the message with comment.

Hope this isn't to confusing.

Pressing 1 after the message gives me invalid response. All I can do is play skip delete or replay headder

I just tried it on a VS4 on the bench and it worked great.

Do I need an upgrade? Does the type 206 card matter? Its a 4.1 processor and VS4.1 voice mail.

No it should work with what you have.

Is it step 2 that is giving you the problem?

Are you sure that it is a VS4 and not VS3 or below

On the outside of the box said 4.1 not VS4. How expensive is an upgrade?

You will have to replace the VS, log into 99 then enter password and it should tell "System Manager Partner Mail VS Release 4"

What I meant to say is that you will have to replace the VMS you can't upgrade it, lets see what you have first then go from there. If it's a 4 then you should be able to forward messages
