IPO r7...the school supt currently has a coverage appearance on his secretary's phone and would like that extension to ring no ans on a third extension, if the third ext goes unanswered they would like the call to end up in the secretary's voice mail. Been trying to use forward no answer but the call goes to the secretary's voice mail before going to third extension. Not sure how to adjust the timers to accomplish this...Sorry for the long winded post...any direction appreciated.
Thanks
Tom

sorry I only know how to do this on a voice mail pro, not sure if this can be done with embedded

It seems like it would work using hunt groups rather than bridged appearance. The first HG would have the superintendent and the other two phones then it would ring sequential and then overflow to a HG with one phantom user which has a CF to the secretary's extension. The HGs have all the timers you need.

Or just let the HG VM take the call & give both
The superintendent & the secretary access to the mailbox.

Don't fight the system - use it to its best advantage!

Or to put it another way Give the customer what they want (not necessarily what they ask for :) )

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Thanks for the direction, we're trying to use the hunt groups as follows:
HG 397 has the Supt and Secretary in it and rings collective on n/a it rolls over to HG 398 which has the third extension in it and the HG mailbox for that group.
The calls roll over to HG 398 but never go to the HG mailbox but go back to HG 397 instead.
Thanks
Tom

Hi there.

It can be done with the follow me feature on the phone.
It only seems to work digital / ip phone to digital / ip phone.

It will go to the phone that has been forwarded to voicemail.

Regards

can follow me be set to go after a set amount of rings?
Thanks
Tom
