I have a single site with a G3R w/Intuity Audix. I have a few hundred x-ported extensions that point directly the Intuity, used by the field staff. The field staff is actually part of a different company. They have requested to use a voicemail system which I do not manage. I would like to send calls for these extensions to a remote Octel voicemail system that isn’t managed by me. The idea is to use Octel as the voicemail system for these extensions without changing anyone's phone number. Can the Octel system easily accept calls from a remote system? Oveislly I will need to work with the remote site on this, but I wonder how difficult this would be to setup.

I have kind if the same setup. We have a site in Florida with no voice mail system. I have set up remote dial from Florida to dail an ext in Phx AZ that goes to cover and then voice mail right away. It uses two trunks out of Florida. One the caller is on then one to dial the remote number to voice mail. We lost the VM light when they have messages. One more thing is if the Extension numbers in the Octel system are in use, then you can't match them to the extensions in the G-3r. Just tell them how much it will cost, they most likely will change their minds. So many buttons So little time
