Forwarding emails to an external email address

Is there a way to forward emails from the Exchange Server to external emails addresses? Without giving too much information, I can't create a rule in Outlook to forward these messages because the users don't actually access the network even though they have NT/Exchange accounts.

If have about 10 users that I want to do this with. I want them to use our company email address yet I want the message to be forwarded to an external email account once it hits the Exchange server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have done the following:

1. Setup user's alternate address on the Exchange server.
2. Gone into the user's Exchange address and under the Delivery Options tab chosen: Alternate receipient. Put in the person's outside address in there and also chose Deliver message to reciepient and alternate.

Here is the method I've personally used:

Expand your site container.
Highlight "Recipients" (not server recipients).
Click the icon to create a "new custom recipient"\internet address\OK.
Enter the SMTP email address (user@test.com).
At minimum, you need to enter a display name, and an alias\OK.

Then:
Bring up the properties for the user's main mailbox\Delivery Options\click the radio button under "None"\click "Modify" and browse to the new account you created\OK\click "Deliver messages to both recipient and alternate recipient"\OK.

Tip:
If the user needs delivery to more than one outside email address, just add the additional addresses to the new custom recipient (properties\email addresses\new\internet address\OK....).
