Forwarding email to an outside POP account

How do I foward email to an outside Yahoo POP account? It appears thatExchange 2003 is only letting me select already-existing contacts in Active Directory when I go to enter this employee's personal Yahoo email address. Any ideas? Am I forced to add a new contact in AD with this Yahoo email address just so I can forward his email to his Yahoo account? Thanks.

That's what i've done in the past, just a contact with a smtp address of whatever you want. Then add that contact to the forward list.

ESM\Global setting\Internet Message Format\Default

On the advance tab have a look at "allow automatic forward", if it's unticked - that would be your problem.

Has anyone tried this? I wanted to see if this works, because I have tried and it only works for items in AD such as added contacts for smtp or GAL's. I have a client that wants to autoforward email to their Treo's. Even though I have told them to purchase the good.com goodlink server, they seem to refuse it.
