Hi

We have three Definity G3Rs and a Definity G3Csi connected by DCS links. When customer calls are transferred between sites, I want the ANI to be displayed after the transfer is complete. This works within each site, but not accross the links. Is there a way to configure the DCS trunk groups to allow this?

Hi,

You should have no problem with sending ANI digits - make sure you have send number set to y on page 2 and also a nca-tsc setup (also on page 2).

Hope this helps,

Chris

Your trunk groups between your DCS nodes must be IDSN-PRI trunks. Avaya refers to this as DCS+. If the trunk groups between your DCS nodes are TIE trunks you will be unable to send the ANI. There are some differences between DCS and DCS+. If you use DCS+ the name displayed on sets is shorter in length than traditional DCS (17 characters if memory serves me correctly) and a few monor other differences.

Check the trunk group type between you DCS nodes. If they are TIE you are outa luck. Sorry Hope this helps.

Thanks

Chris
