My company has a number of offices. We have 5 digit dialing setup in all offices and between offices. We have a user that has an extension and voice mail in both Houston and London. He will mostly be in London for the next year. He wants his phone in Houston to ring twice and then roll over to his extension in London. This way he can answer the phone if he is in Houston at the time. This part was easy, I simply created a coverage path on his station in Houston with the 5 digit extension of his London number. The user also wants all voice mail to go to his London number. When someone calls his phone in Houston and then it forwards to London it will never roll over to the London voice mail. If you call the London extension directly it will roll over to the London voice mail. This part I cannot figure out. It seems that whenever you forward a phone or setup a coverage path it will not go to the corresponding voice mail box. I can understand why this is so and for the most part you would not want it to. In most situations you would not want a forwarded call to end up in the voice mail box where you forwarded it to. Is there a way to have a forwarded call or call redirected via a coverage path go to the voice mail of the forwarded to number?
