I have looked through LD 12 for a place to program a key that will allow the attendant to forward her console to another phone when she is away. I see where you can put in a forward NA or overflow. Is ther a way to manually forward the console to another phone that will cover F busy, FNA, '0' operator calls to the forward station?

thanks for any help on this.

BTW, This is an Option 11 C 25.40. They are currently using a 2616 at the attendant station but they paid lot of money for a 2250 console and want to use it.

easy way to do that is to use the nite data, ld 21 prt nite, that will take effect when she puts it in nights. i'll look tomorrow and see if i see a way to enable fna on the board. i did have a operator that nite went to a chime that any of the pa could do a pick on

Any resolution to this problem? I'm looking to do the same thing...need to forward the console attendant 1 calls to a different extension (connected to a cordless phone w/ hold/transfer capability) for certain periods during the day so the receptionist can work remotely.

I didn't see the solution posted....

Thanks

There is also an AODN option that would allow calls to overflow to another DN based on time the call is waiting at the attendant console. It also works well, because it can be a different answering point than the NIT options.
IN LD 15,
Code:
REG CHG
TYPE ATT
CUST 0
OPT
.
.
AQTT 20
AODN 2199

AQTT is the time a call is presented to the consolde before rolling to the AODN. The range is between 1 and 255 seconds. The AODN is the DN you want calls to roll to.

There is also a key you can place on the AODN phone (OVB) that places the overflow DN in a busy state. This would be when the console goes into night mode. If the Console is placed in NITE and the OVB key has not been activated, calls to the console IMMEDIATLY role to the AODN. This is great for lunch time and bathroom breaks.

Keep in mind the OVB key MUST be active in order for the console to enter true nite mode.

I know the NITE options allow you to be flexible with where calls go to during the day, but the overflow adds an alternate answering position all the time.

Hope this helps,

Wow...perhaps I'm not on the same page here, but are these commands I'll issue through ASA? Can't seem to find some of the referred to options....

Thanks for your help.
