forward outside pop to exchange 1

Hi. Our school uses an outside vendor to host our pop mail accounts. We do use Exchange 2003 internally. I would like to have some way to make the pop accounts forward automatically to the exchange server so all mail could be accessed using exchange's OWA. Does anyone know how this might be accomplished? Thanks.

Gues the question asked is not that simple, but what about forwarding e-mail from the mailbox at the ISP to what ever you want.?

This can be done in two ways is i am thinking straight this time of the morning.

The most preferable way i did it was to use "popcon" software ... add all of your POP details into this on the sever and it will connect and retrieve your mail and deliver it to exchange ... the benefit of this is that if your server goes down people sendinf you mail wont get a messaged bounced back and it will sit on the remote mail server untill you connect.

Secondly you can have your ISP mofify the MX records on your mail server so it directly forwards mail down towards you.

Hi Dave,

Bit of advice from my days of POPCon ... splash out the exrta little money and get the PRO edition... few extra functions and another wall of virus scan to get the little nasties out.

I have POPcon up and running. There is no tech support to speak of so thank God I know a bit about the server software. I guess I am saying it is not anything a newbie wants to try. But, once configured, it works great. Thanks again, TamedTech. here's your star.
