forward mail outside

I have set up a mail enable contact in ADUC with an external e-mail address. I can e-mail this contact object and the external e-mail recipient reciecves the mail.

I next amended an existing internal user's delivery options to forward to this contact.

It works when sending to the internal user from another internal address, but if sent from an external address, only the internal user gets it(and not the external contact)

I think it has something to do with the relay settings but I am not sure. Can anyone help with this?

From ESM, goto Global Settings - Internet Message Formats. Right-click Default in right-hand pane and select properties. Select Advanced - Allow automatic forward.

Thanx, this fixed it. I knew it had to be a simple check box somewhere.
