I used the form wizard to make a form with data from four different tables. I think I followed all instructions correctly, but when I tried to view the form only the header section showed; the detail area was blank. If I look at the form in design view, everything is there, or so it seems.

The help files are of no help in this problem.

I appreciate any suggestion.

P.S. by the way, do I always need to use the wizard to make forms based on multiple tables? (note that I don't want to use subforms)
Thanks

     Sure you can. All you would have to do is, go to your forms properties, and in the "Record Source" put something like this:

         SELECT * FROM Table1, Table2, Table3

     You can go pretty much as far as you want with that, juat keep adding commas and table names. (Table1,2,3 is obviously replaced with the names of the tables you're pulling data from) =] Good luck!
              rbio@excite.com

Thanks x1; that was very helpful. I re-did my form and it works. However, I still have the problem of "invisibility"!!!. First it was an entire form that would not show in form view, and now it is the header of the new form that I just made; it's in there in the design view, but it doesn't appear in form view. Any hints?

Thanks

This is one possible solution;
Check the properties in both the form and header section. Look for the DISPLAY WHEN property and make sure they are both set to "always". The 3 possible settings for the DISPLAY WHEN property are "Always", "Screen only", and "Print only"
