I have a series of reports in Access 2000. They each fit on one page, and in design view, they look fine.

The first time I open Access and run the reports, they come out OK.

If I run them a second time (and nothing should have changed), the report goes to four pages, because it's now too wide and too long for one page.

Any explanation for this behavior?? Has anyone experienced something like this?

I expect this is due to not having the latest service pack installed for Office 2000. You can temporarily fix this by selecting Tools->Options->General and unchecking all Name Autocorrect boxes.

Thanks. I tried this and no luck. I installed Service Pack 1/1a then Service Pack 3, and the reports are still stretched out. Any other ideas?

Usually with Access 2000 the fixes are as I mentioned. Did you check the margin settings? Are these changing?
