I have a file that I imported into Excel and the date came over as Mar 9 2007 12:00AM. If I choose format cell that doesn't put it in the 3/9/2009 format. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Hi,

Chances are, the column is formatted as TEXT.

Enter a 1 in an unused cell.

Copy it.

select the DATA in the date column.

Edit > PasteSpecial -- MULTIPLY
