Format function in a report not usable??

Hi,

I have a code module in a report were I try to use the format function... then the compiler gives me this error

Runtime error 2465

Database can't find the field 'Format' refered in your expression.

I'm in the Detail_Format of the report...

I've also tried Format$ and still another quite special error...
