This may be a really stupid question. I know how to create a new report that I want to print labels on using the Mailing Label Report Wizard, so that I can print my labels using an Avery label. However I have an existing report (not in label format) that I want to apply Avery formatting to. How do I do this on a report that was not created with the Label Wizard (Crystal XI)? Thanks!

It's probably not worth trying to convert to Avery format--probably it would be just as easy or easier to copy formulas, etc., into a new report.

Anyway, you set up a report with multiple detail sections, one for each line in the address, and then format the detail section with multiple columns. In the format tab, you would set the width and gap to create the necessary number of columns. You would have to play with the vertical and horizontal gaps and the width of the field and ALSO adjust the margins in the page set up screen until you get a match with the sheet of labels. Just print on paper to check for a match. If you have an existing label report, check out the margins and the settings for multiple columns and then just enter those.
