I use Access 97.

I have a form that basically has 3 subforms. Each subform contains a tabcontrol with multiple subforms.

When I open the main form - it is very slow to open. It seems as though it is running through each tab on each of the 3 subforms before opening.

I saw post about adding code to on_change event. But that is not an option in Access 97.

Any suggestions of how to make form load faster?

Thanks!

Lisa.

luceze thanks for resonding. But in Access 97 that the autocorrect is not an option under the tools option menu.

I tried as mikehoot (TechnicalUser) Jun 25, 2003 suggested and added the following code to my on open event of the main form.

Application.SetOption "ShowWindowsInTaskbar", False
Application.SetOption "Log Name AutoCorrect Changes", False
Application.SetOption "Perform Name AutoCorrect", False
Application.SetOption "Track Name AutoCorrect Info", False

They all caused error messages.

Any other suggestions?

ps. the form is not bound to a control.
