I have a Form that's about 2 1/2 wide and 2 1/2 across with textboxes and command buttons on it. Whenever I go to the Design view and drag the Detail section, because I need to add more textboxes etc.. the Form is no longer viewable when I click on Form view. I just get a blank gray screen. But the Form is viewable with all its textboxe etc.. before I expand the detail section. What's going on?

Set the AutoResize option to Yes, save the form and open it. It should show up with the proper size displaying the expanded detail area. Terry L. Broadbent

Have you tried scrolling around to make sure you're not viewing only a blank Part of your form? Wilder thought: Do you have a rectangle control on your form that you're resizing instead of the detail section and covering your other controls with? Try getting your properties to stay open when you go to form view (If I knew where that was I'd disable it, 'cause it's annoying most of the time), see what control you are on and try tabbing to others.

Is by some chance any of the expanded fields linked in a way that no data is selected?

Ex: Form w/ F1, F2, F3, F4 views fine, but add F5 (which limits selection to none due to data type selection) and form is blank.

If not...

I can't even scroll around because the scroll bars aren't present even though I have the scroll bar property set to both. I know what your talking about but I don't have any rectangle control on the form.

Thanks a lot Rhonin. That was the problem. The form is showing now.
