We have a small In/Out board (database) that we use to track where everyone is at. The db program is in two parts-the Front-end client that everyone uses and the back-end database. The front-end is the Access form that is linked to the back end on our network.
The problem is when a change is made it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to over 10 minutes for the changes to appear on everyone elses board.
For example, if I am leaving my desk and put myself "Out" the change show up right away on my computer. However, on all the other computers running the In/Out board the change usually appears much later. Refreshing it does not help.
We noticed that if I put myself either "In" or "Out" and then close Access on my computer the change is reflected right away on all the other computers.
Any ideas why this is behaving this way?
Thank you,
MrMajik
