hi

How do i capture within the action class execute method whether a submit(<html:submit>) or a reset(<html:reset>) or a cancel<html:cancel> has been clicked from the form(jsp).

TIA

Reset should never go to the backend, that is a browser level control.

Only a submit and cancel (since cancel is rendered as a submit) should be recieved on the backend.

Just check for the presence of a parameter with the name you give the control.
