Form field defaults to first day of month 1

I haven't been able to find much about how to do this but I'm sure it can be done. I'd like to set the default date of a text box to the first day of the current month.
 
Set the DefaultValue property to:
=DateSerial(Year(Date()), Month(Date()), 1)
