Dear all,

I use WinXP OS.
I created 2 forms, 1 (form a) is set with default backcolor (212,208,200) property and the other form (form b) is set with 0,0,0 But after that, I change the color back to 212,208,200 than the form a and form b is now show with the same color.

The problem is, when I open that form at Win98, the color of both form is different, form a is 192,192,192 but form b still 212,208,200. I think that's because I change the form b backcolor before. So, how do I set the form b backcolor back to default, so even I open at WinXP or Win98, the backcolor will be follow the windows setting.

Thank you in advance.

paispatin,

To set the BackColor of form b to the default you should use the ResetToDefault form method rather than setting to a particular color. This will return it to the Windows default.

Setting it to a particular color, even if you think it is the same as the default, isn't actually the same as setting it to the Windows default. Presumably the default in XP is 192,192,192.

Hope that helps,

Stewart

In the properties, Right Click on the BackColor property and select Reset to Default.

Regards,

Mike
