I am using Crystal Reports v. 8.5. I have created a report in landscape view which prints fine from my side. However, I have users running the report from a compiled executable on a central server and when they run it, it comes up in Portrait view. They can change it on the print setup button but they do not want to do this. They want it to automatically default to landscape. Is there any way to make it default to landscape on the users' side? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid not, and if they are using a differnt type of printer, they may even see some slight changes in the report.

You might create a faux parameter to remind the users to switch the printer to Landscape, but that's still a fugly solution as they'll still have to change the settings afterward.

If you wrote code, such as VB, you can control this.

You might contact Ido and ask about this for his viewers:
