Folder Sharing in XP 2

On right clicking a folder->select sharing->in the dialog box that opens click web sharing. Now it mentioned, default website.

Question: what is this default website and how do I access it from IE or otherwise on my system (my system has IIS) and is part of a home workgroup)

If your machine name is "mypc" and you share the "temp" folder as an alias of "temp", then to access that folder you'd go to

http://mypc/temp

You'll have to have the right permissions (read/write/etc) when you do the web sharing. Sounds like you are looking for "Directory Browsing".
