OK. I was able to program the LD number directly in the FNA prompt on the phone. What the customer didn’t say was that they also use auth. codes from the LD carrier. So now when you call that DID number and after 4 rings, there is a recording asking for the auth. code, just like when you dial it directly. So NOW my question is does anyone know how to insert timed pauses into the string? I tried *** but it just doesn’t recognize them. I need to program as follows: (9 1 xxx xxx xxxx) (***pauses) (**** auth code). The T1 is a PRI. Note: I was able to program local and 800 numbers in the FDN and all worked fine. The problem is with LD due to the auth. code requirement from the carrier.
