FN Key Won't Disable

Hi,

I have a compaq laptop and have problem in turning off the FN key. Everytime I boot the computer, the FN key is automatically enable and there is no way to disable to but to put the computer to sleep mode and when it wakes up, then the FN key is disabled. But the thing is when you hit Caps Lock then it enables again the FN key. Any help be appreciated... thanks.

Check the bios. I know it's possible to turn num lock on and off on certain bios.
Might be a start.

I already checked the bios but I couldn't find anything regarding keys. Also I checked the Accessibility settings just in case there was some set-ups that was changed, to no avail.
