In the documentation for the Catalyst 3550 & 2950 it states that when QoS is enabled you MUST disable 802.3x flow-control on all ports on the switch. It doesn't go on to say exactly why, it just says you have to. On the Catalyst 6500 documentation there is no such comment in the QoS section, nor can I find any notes on CCO regarding whether flow-control should be enabled or disabled when using QoS on the 6500. Does anyone know or have any links that I may have missed?

Thanks

Andy
