Floating static route or equivilent on Procure 2848

Guys

I want to have a backup route pointing to a router on my procurve 2848. I know on a cisco I can have 2 routes to the same destination pointing at different next hops and give one a higher AD than the other then if the default failes the once with the higher ad kicks in. Can I do this on HP or do something else to give the same fail over effect?
