CS 1000 rel.5.0, M3310 and M3820 phones.

Is there possible to create something like Flexible Office ?
What I mean:
The phoneset is not working until user inserts own personal code. Then his (her) personal profile is assigned to the set (Name, DN, NCOS, features …) and user can use it.

Thanks,

j.

In the feature guides, there are two types:

M3900 (Single Site) Virtual Office

IP Network-wide Virtual Office

Those are the exact names, so if you go to the I thru M feature book, you'll see the feature and how it is implemented.

M3900 Virtual Office seems well but we have no 39XX phonesets on our site. Could the Automatic Set Relocation or other feature be relevant ?

Thanks again,

J.

M3900 Virtual office.

A little bit confused how does it work and how to programm this feature.
According the Documentation there is reccomended to create just FFC VTLN and Phantom TNs with CLS ELA.
But Phoneset must be connected to physical TN. There is no physical TN setup described ….

Thanks for help,

J.

The way I read it, the physical TN is called the Host Terminal. I think that can be any TN 3900 TN with CLS VOLA

When you log into the Host, you pull the Virtual TN programming towards you onto the Host

I have not made one of these, but that's how I read it.

GHTrout is correct.

Program the Physical 3900 with cls VOLA.

Program the user's virtual 3900 on a virtual loop with set type 39xx V with cls voua, and make sure you assign a scpw.

When a user logs into the virtual office, they enter their DN as the userid, and the scpw as their password.
