I'm having a time trying to setup a CCR on a flash2 (I believe version 2.0.10) I like the browser utility in nru10 is anything for talking to it utility wise for setting up CCR other then from the Phone
I'm setting up 3 options, the first two go to informational mailbox's the third goes to the general delivery and that it,

Sounds simple enough. Where are you getting stuck?

Log into f983, press othr, ccr, build, enter tree number- 1 if this is the only one.

Go to path 0, record your CCR prompt. Enter path 1, build as lv msg to your first info box. Repeat for path 2 for your second box. Path 3= lv msg 100 (or 10, or 100, etc... depending on the number of dn digits you're working with).

Quit, save as tree 1, and assign it to a table.

well, I'm working with 601 600 & 100 for options 1, 2, & 3 respectively, I can hear the home message when calling into the home message play when I'm in night mode, however pressing 1,2, or 3 doesn't get me to the respective box's, which make me think I have something on the tree either fouled up or disabled but I will print what you mentioned and check it when I'm next to the system

OK here is a couple of things I need to confirm
I believe when changing a CCR tree In any manner I need to disable it, make the change then re-enable it,

on the two information mailbox's 600 & 601 in this case should I not be able to call them from a regular phone ? I know i can go F981, other and then log into them that way and hear the message,

and finally I don't think there is anything to view any tree info other then the phone itself is that correct

If 600 and 601 aren't extensions then you can't just dial them on a phone. I know of no other way to view anything on a flash other than through a phone. Change the vmail to a call pilot for a gui. You are correct in saying the tree needs to be disabled, changed, then re-enabled.

well here where I am, with the tree disabled and when the paths are going to 601, 600 & 100 extenstion wise re-enable the tree it says I have "pressed a invalid extension" when I press 1, 2, or 3 If I disable it and make the tree go to 222, 223, & 224 it goes and rings the respective phone and after 4 rings that phones voicemail picks up, however since 100, 600 & 601 are not extensions you could normally dial then I made path 1,2 & 3 a leave message and record what is in the respective box's for each path it appears to work, I would like to just use the information only box's as that would seem to be less keys for the end user to press when they need to update things, and I missing something ? I suppose I could make a
"Cheat sheet" for the end user for when they need to make a update of some sort

No, I don't think you're missing anything. I know it's counter intuitive to program a path as "leave message" when you're talking about a info box, but it does work.

Alternatively, you could program your paths as info themselves, and record your prompts directly in the ccr, but as you said, it's too difficult, and often dangerous to try to talk a user through changing the ccr.

Is it possible you have Lite s/w. Does the flash card say VML on it?
If so, no CCR or ACD

If you are getting the "invalid extension" message I think you set the tree to transfer to 600 instead of leave message 600. can you check that?

I will check that once I am next to the system again which I expect to be either later on Friday or Saturday and let you know,

thanks Jerry you are right, I changed the path to leave message re-enable the tree and then it worked, you learn so many things getting tips from this web site, for instance I learned you can use transfer but only if it is a live phone, I will be able to "slim down" the Cheat sheet so when they need to update the informational box's they will only have to update the message in the box and not have to mess with the tree itself.
