Before I go and spend a fortune on Flash MX and more cash on manuals can someone inform me how easy it is to play mpgs inside the flash movie as per this exapmle...

Flash MX Video support... easy? hard?

If I were you, I would download the Flash trial, and see for yourself it it's easy or hard. It seems like it's just drag-and-drop, or import. Then you just control the video via actionscript. I'm guessing it's not too hard at all. Maybe that link will help, too.
