howdy

been faced with yet another problem here, I have a site that consists of frames, basically I have a topbar that I want to play once (it has a logo building up), how can I get flash to keep playing the last frame of that when I click on a different page throughout the site? so it doesnt keep playing from scratch everytime?
should I create a new flash with the last frames position?

the solution you mentioned last could be one solution but you could just make an extra frame for the movie so that it stays unchanged which doesn't seem to be a problem since it is a bar at the top anyway, right?

if i were you, I would create a movieclip with your logo animation. In the last frame place stop(); in the action pane. Now create a new layer in your movie. Place the logo movie clip in that layer and make sure that the frames (not keyframes) for that layer goto the end of your movie. Don't put anything else in that layer and you will be fine. You can also control the logo clip at different sections of the website if you wish by using the movieclip.play(); commands etc. If my exlpanations have not been clear please post and I will try and clarify them for you.
