Using excel in office 97, you could go into options and check off fixed decimal, places:2. Then when entering data if I entered 12345. it entered as 12345, if I entered 123.45, it entered as 123.45. In excel in office 2003 with the options set the same way, if I enter 12345. it enters as 123.45, if I enter 123.45 it enters as 123.45. I actually "have" to enter 12345.0 in order for it to enter as 12345. Does anyone know why?? Is there another setting somewhere in 2003 that needs setting? (or in XP)This is driving my controller crazy!
Thanks in Advance
Annette

Nope, it's an extremely annoying bug in 2003 that has not yet been addressed.

You already have the only known 'workaround' at the moment which is to enter the trailing .0 which is bugging to say the least.

Do you have any idea if Microsoft is aware of it, and if it's on a list anywhere to be fixed?
Thanks
