Thank's to you guys. Specially to jrjuiliano|-0 . I finally could connect my ws to the server, typing the server name on the workgroup of my ws. Now I am typing the server's name in the domain controller (in my ws) but I still get the same message:
there are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

What I have done:
(I am working w/w2k in an hp net server)

-I created a user account (I granted all the privileges I found)
-I created my workstation's name in the server
-I typed an ip address in the server
-I typed an ip address in my ws

I appreciate any help...

What type of name resolution is your server currently running (WINS, DNS, HOSTS)? Also, does your workstation have this information specified, or are you using DHCP? If so, is DHCP supplying this info (along with default gateway, etc)?
