First ring back too loud

Hi,

I've got a strange issue with one of my Swiss customer.

Configuration :
S8700 in MC in CM2.0.1+SP 6960
Clan in F12, MedPro in F95, DS1 in F15, Ipsi in F9.
Ip Phone 4620 in 2.1.3

Trouble:
When the customer called some people located on different place in Switzerland, the first rign back is really too loud. I did the tests with two differents numbers and we heard the difference.

Infomation:
After investigate of the Swisscom side (the provider so), they explained us that they are replacing their autocom Alcatel by Siemens one.
So, we found so that all the called routed by Alcatel equipment are ok (regarding the ringback) but the call route by the Siemens are too loud.

This phenomen is present with analog and DCP phone. I mean we understand the difference but it's not a trouble. But with the ip phone the phenomen is increased and it is really hard for the hear.

What can I do?

Try using the AGC (Automatic Gain Control)feature. This increases and decreases the volume when needed.

I forgot to mention that the 4620 are 4620SW and the 4620SW don't support the AGC with the release 2.1.3. A new firmware should arrive in May and fixe this issue with the AGC.

But keep in mind that it's a workaround of a provider issue.
