First record won't suppress

I am using Crystal 8 with an Oracle database. I have a labels report that if a boolean is true then it should display an email instead of an address. The address is in section A and the email is in section B. It works fine exect for the first record when it displays both the email and the address. I expect the answer to this is obvious but I can't see the wood for the trees.
