Firewall within win 2k server

i have a network w/ win 2k server and panda server anti virus running and have disabled all firewalls that i know of and i was wondering if there are any other firewalls within win 2k server. i am trying to set it up as an ftp server and it is not allowing me to cause there is somesort of firewall.

No there is no built in firewall in Win2k

Perhaps your ftp port has been disabled in the TCP/IP filtering of your network card.

If you are using an non-MS FTP app. don't forget to disable 2000's own FTP service, or at least change the port 21 to something else!

You should also check RRAS if you have it set up. Has port filtering that might be causing probs..easy to set and forget there.

Check and see what netstat and nbtstat show for connections. Good luck.
