Firefox won't load whole page

Windows XP Home SP2. DSL Broadband through wireless router. Firefox 2.0.0.12

Firefox starts loading a page but doesn't complete it. The fasterfox add-on counts indefinitely unless I press the escape key. It used to work fine. Internet explorer works OK but I prefer Firefox.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tested the response from Safe Mode With Networking?
Running Disk Cleanup might help too.

Thanks. I've tried those tweaks but the problem is stil there. In safe mode with networking it works fine.

I've disabled the fasterfox add-on and this seems to have solved the problem.
