Firebox blocking complete PDF downloads

I believe that our firebox is blocking PDFs from downloading completely. PDFs start to download, then stop. This occurs on multiple computers within our network, on multiple web sites. PDFs are only downloadable if you right click on the link and choose the 'Save Target As...' selection. Any ideas?

if the firebox is blocking the download it will show up in the traffic monitor as well.
What error do you get while downloading?
have you tried with HTTP filter instead of proxy?
Have you tried on machine outside of firebox network?
