How to find out what type of Hard disk on the Server through Console for Example Command
CPUCHECK gives Speed etc
File server name Give the name of the file server

If you go into MONITOR and look under STORAGE DEVICES, it may tell you the infornation you require. Also, you can output all the server configuration to a text file (including this information) by using CONFIG.NLM. Just type LOAD CONFIG.NLM at the server console, the output file is SYS:SYSTEM\CONFIG.TXT

What server hardware are you using?
