Is there any routine to isolate where a Referencial Integrity Violation error has occurred?

I am trying to link two tables that were never linked before (with referencial integrity and cascade delete) but there is a violation somewhere. There are over 5000+ entries in both tables so its not that easy for me to troubleshoot.
I have pulled the data through excel and compared both fields and can't find the error. I suspect its a trim problem .i.e 8450_ is trimmed in excel to 8450 and access only seems to output in general format.

Does anyone have the solution to find the error?

Write a query with an outer join and select the rows where the "left" side is null. In other words, include all rows from the "child" table, and only the ones that match from the "parent".
