Can anyone tell me how to find out uptime on a Win2000 Server. (And NT4 if you happen to know that too)

Try uptime utility from resource kit vadimp@yandex.ru

Someone asked the same question on the NT forum and I responded with this:

In addition to monitoring "server" availability, SysTrack will monitor "application" availability. If you are not a 24x7 shop, it also alows you to exclude weekends, holidays, scheduled down-time, etc. so the availability numbers you report are accurate. SysTrack does much more than availability reporting: monitors user session activity, monitors applications & services, inventory, changes, memory leaks, alarms, etc. If you are interested in finding out more, please let me know.

If you are logged on locally, the easiest way to do it is in task manager. On the processes tab, choose show columns and check the CPU Time. Then look at the entry for system idle process. Quick, easy and free. MCSE, A+
