We are getting a lot of mail junk email on our servers (just like everyone else). But the starnge thing about it is it has no address in the To: box. Since there is no To: address the server delivers it to everyone.

Also we get a lot of mail that is not addressed to us see example.

mciant@mycompany.com This would be a good address for our domain, but if that address is a distrobution group we also get mail sent to any of the following.

mci, mcclure, mclire, mcsady, etc.

It seems that if the address begins with MC the mciant group gets the mail. Is there a way to stop this?

you just need a good Spam filter. Have a look at POPcon. It retails for about $99.00 dollars and stop 100% spam and cleans any viruses you might recieve

I can only show the door, your the one that has to open it !

If you're not interested in installing something on the server, look at - they provide a service that removed viruses and spam. It's pretty good. You pay per mailbox.

It appears that POPcon is only good if you are downloading POP3 email. Is this true? If so, I don't see how it could help most exchange servers, as most do not POP their mail. I would like to try it if it's more than POP email - anyone know? Thanks
