I have been unsuccessful from blocking certain senders. I have gone through and posted messages, and have done what people say, but still have no luck.
So, what I did is I got a book called "Microsoft Exchange 2000 Exchange Server Administrator's Compainion". I found the section that explains the filtering of unwanted messages.
What the book says is "When message filtering is enabled on an SMTP virtual server, the server will not accept e-mail from any domain on the message filtering list." What I needed to do is create a message filter list. Here is what the book said about that. "Open the Exchange System snap-in, and select the Global Settins container. Right-click Message Delivery, and choose Properties. On the Filtering tab, click Add to display the Add Sender dialog box. You must include the @ symbol at the beginning of the domain name."
I did all that, but IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!! Is my set up messaged up? I have no clue.
Does anyone have know what I need to do. I know that it is hard to know what I have set up. Any last comments?
Thanks.
Nick
