What i would like to do is to create a form that contains a number fo text boxes and so on that the user can enter in criteria and then have a search button that will search the databse according to this criteria. Unfortunatly i don't know how can anyone help?

Hi

In principle:

Make a query

Set the criteria of the relevant columns to

Like Form!YourFormName!YourTextBoxName & "*"

you need to substitute your own Form Name and text box control names of course

To execute the search, depands on if the form is bound to above query, if it is a simple Me.requery will do it, if it is not you need to open a recordset based on the query
