files stay open ???

I have a problem with the search option
when i search my server's harddrive from my workstation and i view the open files folder on the server (configuration screen --> administrative tools --> shared ...... --> open files) all the files i've searched or witch he passed on the drive while searching stay open with my username as the user.
anywone an idea ?

ps the search program is closed on my workstation

i've found this solution according to microsoft

but I can't find the key in my registry
