OK, this may be a Novell problem, or it may be an Autocad problem. I may also be on a wild goose chase, but I'm giving the user the benefit of the doubt on this.
A user opens an Autocad file in the morning, works on it all day, and saves periodically (in some cases very often). At some point the program crashes (drawing errors usually). Then, he goes into the directory and the file is as it was before he opened it. Earlier date, same file etc. I cannot get it to duplicate in my presence. I know it is the same file they are working on because sometimes I can find the sv$ file in the temp directory and it has the correct name.
Now, I have several users complaining about this, so Im wondering if anyone else has seen this either with Autocad or other programs. So far for us it is just Autocad.
The workstations are Architectural Desktop 3.3, Windows XP or 2000, Novell Client v.4.90 sp1a, netware 5.1. Please refrain from comments indicating that we are being lied to, we've explored that quite extensibly. It is still a possibility of course, but Im hoping that someone else has seen this.
Thanks
