I'm writing a utility front end for my family to maintain our web photo gallery. Most of the scripting is to manage the database, which is easy enough. So far, I've used a separate FTP client on my PC to transfer the files to the remote web server, but I would prefer to skip that step. Glancing through the PHP manual, I see that I can use certain FTP functions - but of course for those to work, the script located on the server needs to be able to call on an FTP server on my local PC. Is it feasible to set that up locally? I'd appreciate any pointers.
Thanks much!

Thanks - I will look into those resources. By the way - your link points to sourceforce.net (a spammish ad page) rather than sourceforge.net, which I'm sure you meant. Sneaky bastards!
